Transport Manager CPC Training and Exams
To obtain a CPC, candidates need to pass a multiple choice exam and a case study exam in their chosen field (Road Haulage or Passenger Transport). The pass mark is 70% for the multiple choice exam and 50% for the case study exam.
There are a couple of different ways to undertake the qualification, home study or classroom based.
Home Study
We provide candidates with the learning materials, including practice questions and past papers and the 2 exams required to pass the qualification. Candidates use the learning materials to study the syllabus in their own time and then come in to centre to sit the exams once they feel they are ready.
We can provide short revision sessions prior to the exams for specific areas of the syllabus that candidates might be struggling with.
Classroom Study
Candidates will still be issued with the same learning materials as for the home study option above, 6 weeks before the classroom course and will be expected to familiarise themselves with the materials and all areas of the syllabus.
A fortnight before the chosen exam, candidates will come into centre for 5 days to attend training, revision and exam preparation across the full syllabus.
Exam Information
The exams are paper based and are run once a quarter (March, June, September, December) from our offices in Billingham as we are an authorised SEG Awards examination centre.
